Many might think of
cargo-shifting as an easy job,but only truckers know of all the challenges they
face- the loading and unloading, freight control, safety- whatnot! However,
even though the loading/ unloading can be taken care of, it is freight that is
the cause of major concern for truck drivers. Everything needs to be transported
with utmost safety and minimal damage. With road transport, how does one
guarantee zero damage? Truck movement, brakes, skidding, etc- anything can be
the cause of freight damage. It is, therefore, best that truckers use E track
load bars (available with E track loadbar holder), cargo straps, etc. to reduce these problems, and keep away
from damage.
While deciding to buy load bars, however, how does one decide the bar that suits their needs? After all, with so many different types available in the market, deciding on one might get difficult. To help you out, we decided to discuss a few cargo bar types and their uses in transport. Have a look!
- Hoop Load Bars
As the name suggests, a hoop load has metal hoops attached to it. Hoops allow for greater protection from loadshifting during transit by extending the coverage area of the load bars. Depending upon the requirements, you can get these hoops bolted to your cargo truck. Further, when not in use, these metal hoops can be easily removed from their bolts.
Hoop load bars find their use primarily to prevent loadshifting while moving large cargo boxes from one place to another.
- E track Load Bars
E track bars are one of the most useful kind. These can be installed both horizontally and vertically inside your truck. E track load bars help maximize the space in your truck, thereby allowing you to move more cargo at a time. When not in use, an E track load bar can be stored by securing it with an E track load bar holder.
- Load Lock Bars
An easy option to keep freight in place, load lock bars consist of rubber paddings attached at the end of the bars. The load locks are secured to both sides of the truck’s walls with the help of these rubber pads, thereby protecting cargo from shifting/ falling during transit.
While these are just a few, there
are other types of load bars available as well. With load bars, it is also
essential to get load bar accessories such as E track load bar holder, rubber pads, tie down kits, etc to aid
smooth cargo transit and prevent damage.
